Great salad, I will be missing all the great summer tomatoes as the weather gets colder here. If your guest is vegetarian, you can serve this as a main. Ripe, red tomatoes will yield the best result. Going foward, this will now be a staple in my home.

This is a great green salad recipe because extra salad can marinate in the dressing overnight and be eaten the next day in pita pockets as a sandwich.
Add a good handful of pitted kalamata olives. Place 4 large vine tomatoes, cut into wedges, 1 peeled, deseeded and chopped cucumber, ½ a thinly sliced red onion, 16 Kalamata olives, 1 tsp dried oregano, 85g feta cheese chunks and 4 tbsp Greek extra virgin olive oil in a large bowl. That would be lovely, wouldn't it??
